WHAT ARE EXAMPLES OF THE TYPE OF WORK YOU DO?
I do a lot government affairs strategy for corporations and non-profits. This includes creating strategy and lobbying to accomplish it. I also serve as ears and eyes for my clients in Washington, DC.
I lobby on appropriation requests and seek contracts for clients. I also work on behalf of the government on international aid projects. In addition, I work with a select group of leaders as their strategic coach.
CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHAT COACHES DO?
A good coach helps facilitate their client's thinking so they can decide on the best answers to their strategy questions. Unlike a consultant who have expertise in one area, the expert coach is gifted at helping the client discover their own answers. The coaching field is premised on the theory that people actually do know what is best for them and they can see that if they are helped by another person trained in coaching.
WHAT TYPE OF COACHING DO YOU DO, RICH?
My ideal clients are visionary leaders who require coaching to propel their vision to reality. I have both clients who hire me personally and others who hire me through their organization.
